A full house contains 3 matching cards of one rank and 2 matching cards of another rank. A flush consists of 5 consecutive cards from the same suit. A straight contains five cards that skip around in rank but are from more than one suit.

It is important to mix up your style of play to keep your opponent guessing about what you have. If your opponent knows what you are up to, it is very difficult to win, whether by making a big bet or by bluffing.
